were injured. we're learning more about the minutes before and after the shooting started. >> good morning. we're getting a clearer picture of what happened in the first terrifying moments when syed farook and his wife tashfeen malik opened fire on the coworkers at the party. last night was a night for reflect. people gathered to remember the 14 dead and the 21 injured. syed farook and tashfeen malik died in a shootout with the police. the police have spent hours looking through the couple's home, that turned up thousands of rounds of ammunition and pipebombs. we're hearing from one of the first responders. >> it was unspeakable the carnage, the number of people
who were injured and dead, and the pure panic on the face of those individuals that were in need. a very active investigation underway, local, state and federal authorities looking for a clear motive. authorities are not ruling out work plate confrontation as a motive and looking at terrorism as a possibility. officials are saying that syed farook was radicalized and in touch with people being investigated for international terrorism. the hospital was locked down after a man said he saw a man with a gun.
officers did a sweep of the hospital but no gun was found. san francisco police will hold a town hall meeting tonight to discuss the officer- involved shooting. the mother of the man who was killed mario woods, said her son struggled with mental issues but he was not violent. he was involved in a stabbing and would not drop the knife. the chief wished his officers could use tasers but they are prohibited by the police commission. the time is 4:35. richmond police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed a 21-year-old woman near hilltop mall. it happened yesterday near hilltop drive. the woman was in the front
passenger seat of the car when another car drove up and started shooting. >> the possibility that someone else was in the vehicle was targeted. it early in the investigation and we have not determined that. >> the woman's name has not been released. there's similarities to 3 recent shootings but they don't know if there's a connection. police in daly city are looking for a woman who want donned one of her daughters after being caught shoplifting. her two daughters at the target show in -- shop in daily city. they caught her and the 11-year- old shoplifting but medina got away. the 11-year-old is in the custody of child protective services. anyone with information is
asked to call daily city police. a man was arrested in berkeley after he crashed into a power pole and ran off. it happened on ward street near wallace. the man's car hit several parked cars before hitting the pole. police are investigating the crash as a possible dui. more than 1000 people were left without power because of the crash. they tell us 176 customers are in the dark. a man is behind bar accused of sexually assaulting a woman in pacifica. police say reports came in of a woman screaming and running from a car along the west end. officers found the woman, went after a man running down a wooded hillside. officers arrested alberto mali of san francisco, he's charged
with aseemed -- attempted all, attempted murder and all of a officer. in berkeley police arrested a homeless man trying to rape a u.c. berkeley student. the police say that the man pushed the woman off a public walkway and into a grassy area. he reportedly tried to sexual assault her, he stole her cell phone and i.d. authorities were able to find him. wilford allen was arrested for kidnapping, attempted sexual assault and suspicion of robbery. >> there's flaps for, plans for beefed up security at a high school where computers were stolen. 85 computers were taken and 13 cameras. all word nearly $10,000.
